We are looking for a Power BI developer who will help our client design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Power BI.
Tasks
- Work with UX/UI designers for to construct wireframes, mock-ups, and in an Agile development process to create Power BI reports
- Designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI
- Developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop
- Create the data model and establish relationships
- Use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) & MDX functions for the creation of calculations and measures in the
- Tabular Mode & multi-dimensional Cubes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues for the deployed reporting solutions
- Generate ad-hoc data analysis utilizing Power BI, R, Python, Excel, and/or other tools
- Establish model used for self-service BI
- T-SQL, SQL – database modeling, design, testing, implementation, and integration
- Data profiling, and discrepancy analysis
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience with the Power BI REST API
- Excellent understanding of tool functions, limitations and hidden features
- Competent with Power BI Desktop, Gateway, Service and Report Server
- Stay up to date on all new Power BI features and functionalities and find ways to introduce them to the organization
- Experience with Data Warehousing and Data Lakes (Preferably on Azure) and general big data architecture patterns
- Knowledgeable in Agile Software Development Methodology
