We are looking for a COBOL expert with loan management expertise to improve functionalities in response to regulatory or legal changes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and implement changes required by regulatory or legal requirements.
- Maintain and enhance the existing loan management system to meet the bank´s needs.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable COBOL code.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
- Provide weekly wrap-up reports to keep the development team up to speed.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in COBOL programming with a focus on loan management systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory or legal requirements related to loan management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work remotely and complete the onboarding process remotely.
