Our partner is a global leader and provider of Aviation Training Management Solutions to Airlines, Training Organizations. We are looking for a Medior/Senior DevOps Engineer in our international partners team to Budapest with 3-4days/week home-office opportunity. You could work full-time or part-time. The selection process consists of 2 rounds (online).
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of DevOps experience
- 3+ years of operations experience with at least some of the stuff we use Linux, Proxmox VE, Ceph, Active Directory, Ansible, Splunk, Zabbix, FortiGate
- You can write code in at least one script language (Python is best)
- You can read code written in at least one of C, Java, C#, JavaScript, PHP, Perl, PowerShell, C++ or bash
- Participated in an open source project, even if just by submitting high quality bug reports
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP and Ethernet networks
- Good command of the English language
Nice to have
- At least a BSc in a technical field
- Security experience
- German and/or French (B1+) language skills
In their role, the new colleague would
- Execute strategic projects (like modernize infrastructure monitoring or develop and implement unified management concept for Linux workstations) with great autonomy
- Work mostly with free/libre open source software
- Support day to day operations of the mostly Linux based server infrastructure as needed
- Be involved in hands-on work as well as design and architecture
- The specific mix of tasks would depend on your qualifications, interests and disposition.
