We are looking for a Medior/Senior Python Developer to our Swiss partners Hungarian subsidiary team in Budapest, with 4 days/week home-office opportunity. Our partners mission is to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions to the education and academic sectors. Their core objective is to boost scientific research and education by integrating and leveraging the most recent computation, data and cloud technology advancements.
You will work closely with the frontend development team, the head of product and your backend development team. In our partners team, you would have the opportunity to learn frontend development (Vue.js) and cloud technology (Azure) as well.
The selection process consists of 2 rounds (online).

The salary range for the position is Gross 1-1.9 M HUF/month (net 665,000- 1.260.000 HUF/month) depending on experience.
Requirements
- 4-5+ years of software development experience in Python
- Experience in REST API development
- Git + CI-CD
- Kubernetes basics
- Confident English language skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for contributing to the architectural design of the backend services powering the product, to its implementation and maintaining/enhancing its devops environment.
- The backend tech stack is built on kubernetes using python, with various frameworks. Your role is to help design the backend architecture of new business logics, upgrade, stress test and enhance existing ones. If you possess the required skill set, you can also contribute to the development of the front-end part of the product.
