Our Client is a growing, technology based, telecommunication provider to the UK business market. We are looking for a Medior/Senior Software Developer (Java with SQL) in our international partners team to Budapest with high salary and Home-Office oppurtunity (maximum 1 day/month of office work) .
You must have strong English language skills and Java and SQL experience to fill the position. The selection process is 2 rounds, online.
Requirements
- Strong English knowledge both oral and written
- Java (Java 8 minimum)
- Object-oriented programming (OOP)
- SQL
- RESTful API design
- Source code version control (ideally Git)
- Working within an agile methodology
- CI/CD and related tooling
Nice to have
- Jira or a similar work-tracking tool
- Spring and Spring Boot
- Wildfly or similar Java EE app servers
- Mule
- Containerisation (ideally Docker, Kubernetes)
- Test tooling (such as Junit, Cucumber, Selenium)
- Familiarity with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices
- Performance tooling (such as JMeter, Locust)
- AWS
- NoSQL (ideally MongoDB or CouchDB)
- Deployment monitoring platforms (such as Dynatrace)
What You´ll Do
- As a full stack software engineer, you will improve and expand our existing user interfaces, backend APIs and underlying databases. You will be part of a cross functional team, comprising of developers, testers, business analysts and product owners. As such you must be a strong team player who values a collaborative approach.
- We are continuously looking to improve our processes and systems, and you will contribute and engage with this, and seize opportunities to learn and develop your own knowledge and skills along the way.
