Responsibilities
- Designing server-side architecture
- Designing, developing and documenting APIs (REST)
- Developing and deploying backend applications
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Requirements
- Proficiency with modern JavaScript
- Proficiency with Node.js and its ecosystem (Express.js, pm2, package managers, etc.)
- Familiarity with relational / nosql database technology such as MySQL and MongoDB
- Familiarity with the web environment and common stacks (Apache / Nginx, *nix operating system, task managers, etc.)
- Familiarity with localization and internationalization
- Tendency to write clean, reusable code and make maintainable software
Preferences
- Familiarity with Typescript
- Familiarity with test frameworks (Mocha, Jest, etc)
- Familiarity with NestJS
- Familiarity with Websockets
- Familiarity with Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes
