Responsibilities
- Define product vision and strategy Work closely with the CEO, and cross-functional teams to determine the products overall direction and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Conduct market research Conduct market research to understand customer needs and identify gaps in the market that the product can fill.
- Collaborate with Business Analyst Work with the Business Analyst to gather requirements and translate them into a prioritized backlog of product features and enhancements.
- Develop product roadmaps Create product roadmaps that outline the products development timeline and the major milestones to be achieved.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback Engage with customers, gather feedback, and analyze it to inform product development and improvement.
- Work with cross-functional teams Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other teams to ensure that the product is delivered to a high quality.
- Evaluate product performance Track and analyze product performance metrics to understand the products success and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up to date with trends Stay informed about changes in the financial technology industry to ensure that the product remains competitive.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure that the product complies with relevant financial regulations.
Requirements
- Relevant experience Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role in the fintech or financial services industry.
- Strong market knowledge In-depth understanding of our market, customer needs, and trends.
- Technical proficiency Familiarity with software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Problem-solving skills Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Customer-focused mindset Strong focus on delivering value to customers and a deep understanding of their needs and pain points.
- Business acumen Strong business skills, including financial analysis, budgeting, and planning.
