We are looking for a Senior DevOps engineer in our multinational insurance partners team to Budapest with fixed 50%home-office opportunity and thirteenth and fourteenth monthly salary. You must have strong English language skills, 4+ years DevOps experience to fill the position.
Requirements
- 4+ years DevOps experience
- Strong English knowledge both oral and written
- Administration of an ElasticSearch cluster, managing cluster nodes, resource allocation, performance analysis, health analysis of cluster
- Understanding of ElasticSearch Indices, sharding, replica configuration, analysis, health monitoring using Kibana (or similar e.g. Grafana, ElasticHQ)
- Administration of a spark cluster, managing spark nodes, resource allocation, performance analysis, health analysis of cluster
Nice to have
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field
- German language skills
- Understanding of CICD build tools/pipelines (Jenkins, Nexus, GitHub, GitLab, OpenShift, Kubernetes)
- Python experience
- DevOps experience gained in a large enterprise environment
Responsibilities
- Act as expert support in the operations of DW/BI solutions
- Actively drive standardization and optimization of operation activities
- Provide production support for data pipelines, working with the platform team, the data suppliers and customers
- Verification of deployment packages and performance of deployment in integration and production environments
- Monitor, analyse, and report on infrastructure resource requirements and performance issues
- Keep documentation up-to-date
- Enhance program codes and test them using SQL, PL/SQL for DW/BI applications
- Work with the business analysts to fully understand the business requirements for change requests and assure that the deliverables are fulfilling these
